In attempts to embrace the urban life, I thought I’d try out the new bike rental service we have in Toronto called Bixi. While struggling more than a little with the bike rack, a friendly stranger helped to get my bike free. Little did I know that stranger was Malik Yoba, best known for his role in New York Undercover. He was super friendly, and helpful about the whole bike thing which is always a refreshing surprise in our big city.
Aside from being a great actor, Malik is a do-gooder and advocate of responsible and engaged fatherhood. His blog features many interviews where he speaks about his views on fatherhood, and how he helped build a school in Ethiopia. He also recently tweeted a great video: Malik Yoba – Role of a Lifetime.
