HeARTS for Pakistan

Last night I stopped by the Gladstone Hotel for HeARTS for Pakistan: An Evening of  Art and Jazz. The trendy Queen St. W hotel ballroom was filled with art enthusiasts, and do-gooders alike with notable attendees: mayoral candidate Joe Pantalone (a strong supporter of the Toronto arts scene) and Miss Pakistan World. The event featured live jazz, as well as a silent art auction where 100% of the money raised went towards the Humanitarian Coalition’s flood relief efforts in Pakistan. Over 50 pieces were donated by generous artists and included photographs, mixed media pieces, sculptures and acrylics on canvas; they were all lovely and without a doubt raised a lot of funds for the worthy cause.  Take a look below for some point and shoot pics!
