I came across this short video clip via TED Talks from my twitter feed. It is in my eyes such a great learning tool as it incorporates different educational tools, such as visuals, literature, and auditory mediums. Jeremy Rifkin examines our human kinship on a scientific level. He takes the time to explain our evolution as humans, and some of our neurological advances through scientific findings. Particularily he examines our human capability to extend our kinship past that of our blood relatives, creed, or geographic location and suggests that we can become a global family. I believe that this may be the answer to realizing that we all together can help create a world of compassion, closeness, empathy and responsibility for ourselves and this earth we call home.
