On the night of June 18, 2010 a team of seven young women, Melissa, Cadia, Jessica P, Josie, Sarah, Jessica C and Catherine, transformed the beautiful Le Jardin special event centre into a magical Madhatters Ball. The fundraising gala began with an enchanting fall through the rabbit’s hole just like in the story of Alice in Wonderland. The night was filled with GOOD food, music, entertainment, raffles and a live and silent auction all in support of the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers. The gala guests, including team thinkGood., were quick to pull out their wallets and engage in friendly bidding wars on some fantastic items like a Sid the Kid jersey, team Italy World Cup paraphernalia, Group of Seven paintings and a really cute elephant teapot. Unfortunately, our coveted elephant teapot from the silent auction (pictured in the gallery below) was snatched up by another attendee, but all is Good in the name of charity!
Six years ago these seven young women came together to take a stand against cancer and support the overwhelming number of people who are touched by the disease either directly or indirectly through family, friends, and loved ones. With their generous hearts they began hosting an annual fundraiser in support of the fight against breast cancer, and this year they will be participating in the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers – a two day walk in battle against all women’s cancers. Team thinkGood. thanks these lovely ladies for all the hard work they put in to organize such a terrific event and we wish them all the best during their two day walk on September 11th and 12th.
Also a big thinkGood. thanks to Deanna for inviting team thinkGood. to such a great event, and to everyone at lucky table #7 for making it such a GOOD night.
Do Good, Feel Good, Live Good
