The thinkGood. team has a deep appreciation for music as we believe it can be used as a powerful vehicle for change. It is a universal medium that has the potential and ability to unite cultures, create awareness and evoke emotions that are felt by all of mankind. The World Orchestra for Peace is an authentic example of how such a medium can unite a variety of nations and help touch the lives of so many. The late Sir Georg Solti believed that music could be used as an ambassador of peace. The World Orchestra for Peace is comprised of musicians from forty countries around the world. Their mission is to set an example of peace and cross-cultural understanding, by using music, which they believe to be a universal language, to spread their message.
All musicians participate on a voluntary basis and proceeds collected from their concerts go to such charities as UNICEF. The passion and dedication to advocate for peace and promote harmony on multiple levels, is what bonds these talented musical geniuses.
