Team thinkGood. had the pleasure of attending The 5th Element, a fundraising dance production, put together by Catalyst a Toronto dance company. Catalyst has come together to inspire its audience to make a difference, showcase a diverse group of talented individuals, and give back to the less fortunate. Their current initiative is to build the first arts school of its kind in Kenya. Funds raised at The 5th Element were donated to Free the Children’s Art Bound initiative. An arts school in Kenya will create sustainable social change by providing quality arts education to young people who can then continue to effect change. We were definitely blown away by the passion, heart, and talent all the performers exhibited on stage. The production showcased dance styles from around the world, eye catching costumes, and an eclectic musical selection.
A big thank you goes out to Sayurie for inviting us out to this awesome event! Thank you to Megan for introducing us to the creators of Catalyst Janet and Natasha, and Bongo & B drummers Marko and Peter! It’s so great to see so many people passionate about helping make the world a better place. Kudos to everyone for an amazing night.
