There are a few things that remind me of recess – jump rope, four squares, tag, and SunChips. There’s just something irresistible about that sweet and salty combination. Now,  SunChips is helping to create greener childhood memories for the new generation on the playground. SunChips has changed their packaging so that its 100% compostable. This means that the new SunChips bags made of plant-based materials fully decompose in about 14 weeks when placed in a hot, active compost bin or pile.

We hope more companies re-think their packaging so that we reduce waste as much as possible. Kudos to SunChips for taking the green leap!! And don’t forget that as a consumer you’ve got purchasing power on your side! So when you can, buy green!
