I couldn’t help but tell you all about this amazing video contest that Children’s Mental Health Ontario is putting on. We are finally getting a chance to “Change The View” of children being associated with mental health issues. The CMHO is asking us to create a video that positively changes the view of children’s mental health issues such as stress, eating disorders, and bullying to name a few. One way that we believe can “Change The View” is by helping these children change the way that they think.
Unfortunately, it is a fact that 1 in 5 kids suffer from mental health issues. But no need to get sad, get involved! We can make a difference by acting now and helping these kids deal with their problems by becoming an outlet and talking to them, or simply by submitting a video to “Change the View“. This will ultimately change the statistics! Addressing questions such as How can we help mediate the situation or problem we face for the better? Why am I letting this particular situation get me upset or stressed? How do we talk about or bring up this issue so I feel better? Finding the root of a problem is key to solving the issue and these questions may help you on your search.
Guidelines and eligibility for this contest can be found on the Children’s Mental Health Ontario website. The video submission deadline for ”Change the View” is May 2, 2010 at 11:59pm and the winner of “Change the View” will be announced on May 7, 2010. So hurry up and make a difference, you only have a week left!
Do Good. Feel Good. Live Good.
P.S. Team thinkGood. might be entering the Change The View Video Contest as well, so stay tuned!

I wish more people would write sites like this that are actually interesting to read. With all the crap floating around on the net, it is a great change of pace to read a site like yours instead.
