I was at my friends house the other day and we came across this documentary called Crude The Real Price of Oil. It was an eye opening illustration of the oil industry and how it has detrimentally effected the health and well-being of many people, communities and our environment.
The systemic and political malfunctions have been hidden in order to fuel (no pun intended) the greed and selfishness of the oil industry. There are serious social, economical, environmental, and health side effects that we need to be aware of everytime we pay at the pump! As we will be paying for more than just gas, but at some point we will be paying with human lives! Fuel for thought.
My suggestion is to go to your local Blockbuster or order the movie with your local cable provider….it’s worth the oppurtunity to empower yourself about what ’s really ”good” in this industry.
